It’s the school holidays! That means plenty of fun activities at shopping malls catered specifically to families, as well as special promotions in conjunction with the fasting month of Ramadhan.
Well, the Estate123 team discovered this fascinating little ‘village’ in Mid Valley Megamall while out for lunch last week! Upon closer inspection, turns out it’s actually part of The Angry Birds Movie roadshow at Mid Valley Megamall’s Centre Court, which is being held from 26 May to 12 June (Sunday).
The featured display is where the movie takes place – an island populated (almost) entirely by happy, flightless birds. In this tropical paradise, you’ll get to meet and greet Red, Chuck, and Bomb, as well as play games to win prizes, join fun workshops and kids parties, and get rewarded when you spend in the mall.

It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of the furious fowls or not, kids and adults alike will definitely enjoy taking a stroll through the Angry Birds village, which presents plenty of fun photo opportunities. What’s more, if you’re there at the scheduled times, you’ll be able to meet and greet the Angry Birds trio – Red, Chuck and Bomb!

Feeling a little camera-shy? No worries, you can still join in on the excitement at the game booths, and even win some prizes! With purchase of RM50 and above at selected specialty stores within the mall, and you’ll be able to play at each of the game booths. Grab your exclusive Angry Birds playpack to rescue precious eggs from a sinking hole using a fishing rod, and test your accuracy by launching Red through one of the holes in the game wall to win a special prize!

There are also entertaining workshops for kids to colour their favourite Angry Bird, learn how to make their very own Angry Birds launcher, and even join an Angry Birds-themed party for a super memorable time with friends!
