Ahoy, mateys! The September school holidays are here again, which means it’s time to bring your kids and set sail on an adventure through the high seas – at the mall! With their pirate-themed campaigns this school holidays, visitors to the Curve and eCurve shopping malls are in for shiploads of looting and pillaging fun. (Well, sort of.)

From August 25 to September 3, 2017, visitors to both malls can immerse themselves in a truly pirate-inspired ambience, as the Curve’s Centre Court and eCurve’s Centre Atrium are transformed to mimic the open seas, complete with pirate ships and mysterious islands. It’s the perfect setting to get into the spirit of a nautical holiday with the whole family!

All aboard! The pirate ship is setting sail at the Curve.

the Curve’s Treasure Cove campaign will offer a thrilling treasure hunt for the little ones. Challenges such as Sword Fight, Toss the Cannon Ball, Walk the Plank and more await on this mission of derring-do. Those who are able to complete all the obstacles will be certified a hero with their very own Pirate’s Badge, courtesy of the Curve! Better yet, a special pirate’s eye patch and hat await the best treasure seekers who are able to discover these hidden bounties. Children can take part in the Curve’s activities for free by signing up at the registration booth at the Centre Court. There will also be special arts and crafts activities on weekends!

Children can get into character for a photo at the Dress Up Corner.

Featuring 10 booths, players can try their hands at a variety of games from Knock the Parrot to Hook the Sword. Each game successfully completed will be rewarded with a stamp, which are exchangeable for various pirate-themed loot, including a Pirate Keychain, a unique Skull Drinking Glass with Straw, a Vintage Diary or an adorable Pirate Rabbit Collectible Figurine (depending on the number of stamps collected).

Bottoms up! Drinks made fun with skull-shaped glasses.

It’s a good way to kill two birds with one stone – shopping for the adults, and playtime for the kids – during the school holidays, and there are plenty of food outlets, shops and playzones in Mutiara Damansara to keep everyone occupied the whole day. 😉
