Recreational parks are very popular among city-dwellers, as they offer a fresh respite from the dust and noise of the urban jungle. These parks are great for unwinding after a long stressful day (or week), having a picnic with family members, or a quick jog or game of badminton with friends on the weekends. Let us bring you to some of Petaling Jaya‘s most popular recreational parks.
Update: A smoking ban has been implemented in Selangor public parks beginning June 1, 2017. Those caught flouting the law will face a maximum fine of RM10,000 or up to two years’ imprisonment. This includes smoking e-cigarettes.

One of the special features of this park is the hanging canopy walk, which allows you a fun experience while admiring the abundant fauna and flora in the park. Look out for the monkeys while at the park; there are a lot of them, and they are not afraid of humans.
