Are you a huge Hello Kitty fan, or know somebody who is? Chances are, you’ve heard of Sanrio Hello Kitty Town in Nusajaya, Johor which is the first (and only) Sanrio Hello Kitty Town themed attraction in the world outside of its native Japan.
Well, it’s time to gather your friends and pack your selfie sticks, because Hello Kitty Town’s latest attraction will not only require you to complete tasks to save the enchanted land of Oz, but also provide you plenty of kawaii photo opportunities!
The newest addition to Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is the Hello Kitty in Oz: The Lost Chapter attraction, which takes you on a magical journey through the enchanted Land of Oz. On the way, you have to complete tasks (while taking a lot of selfies, I may add) to save the Land of Oz and its residents, with the help of the Great Witch of Oz a.k.a. Hello Kitty and her friends.
Hello Kitty Town is a mere 300m walk away from the four-star Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour, which also offers free shuttle bus service to Legoland, located a short 10-minutes drive away. The hotel has a beautiful view of Puteri Harbour where yachts are docked, and the gym and infinity pool offer stunning views of the bay. Attached to Hotel Jen is the Little Red Cube, where you can find retail shops and dining outlets.

Just follow the signage from Hotel Jen, and you’ll easily find the place where Sanrio Hello Kitty Town is housed. Before proceeding to join Hello Kitty in Oz, you’ll encounter Red Bow Cafe, a Hello Kitty themed cafe that serves Hello Kitty-themed food, from their signature waffles to donuts, and even fried rice and ice-cream!

After filling your tummy and purchasing your tickets, head upstairs to the main floor of Hello Kitty Town. There are several sections for you to explore, including Wishful Studio, Tea Cup Ride, Kitty’s House, Purrfect Stage, Cinnamoroll Cafe, and of course, Hello Kitty in Oz!
At the Wishful Studio, visitors can participate in free activities and bring home their very own art and craft!

It’s finally time to enter the magical Land of Oz!
Before embarking on your heroic journey, all ‘heroes’ will be given this cute little Great Witch of Oz figurine to help you navigate the magical Land of Oz. It’s actually a nifty little device that you use to play games and record your scores, which entitles you to a mystery gift at the end of your travels through Oz.
Inside, you’ll find a whimsical land full of cute Sanrio characters and fun mini-games that kids and adults will enjoy. There are lots of picture-perfect and Instagram-worthy places for you to take photos, be it wefies or selfies, so make sure your phone/camera batteries are fully charged before heading in!

Before exiting the Hello Kitty in Oz attraction, you’ll pass by the gift shop, which sells exclusive Hello Kitty in Oz merchandise that cannot be bought anywhere else! Do note that this section is different from the merchandise shop located downstairs on the ground floor, so don’t miss the chance to get your hands on some sweet limited and exclusive Hello Kitty in Oz items. 😉

If all that adventuring is making your stomach growl, you can head over to the super cute Cinnamoroll Cafe inside Hello Kitty Town for some snacks and drinks. There will also be performances at the Purrfect Stage area, as well as character appearances by Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, My Melody and Badtz Maru.
